Birds¶
Almost every world has its own birds, and home has a few too. Photograph one with the film camera and it goes into your bird log: a notebook page on what it looks like, how it behaves and what it sounds like. Some are only pretty. Some steal from you, warn you, guide you, or are the only way to learn something about their world. A few will hurt you.
Pick a bird to see it in 3D, exactly as it is in the game. Drag to turn it, scroll to zoom, switch between perched, walking and flying, and play its call.

How birdwatching works¶
- Most worlds have a common bird and a rarer one, and a few have a legendary bird as well.
- A sighting counts when the bird is in your photo, big enough in the frame and near its middle. The camera's zoom helps with shy and distant birds.
- The bird log fills in a page for each bird you have photographed. Its field notes tell you what the bird is good for, which is often the most useful thing you learn about a world.
- Birds marked dangerous attack travelers. Read their notes before you go looking for them.
