What happens when you arrive

It looks like a gentle plain under a pale blue sky, with soft green grass and rabbits. Then you take a step and sail half a field. Gravity here is about a third of home. Its door can turn up right next to home, and it makes a good first trip.

The rule: gravity at 30%

What changes How it feels
Jumps Carry you about ten blocks.
Falls Slow and floaty, but they still hurt: you can drop about three times further than at home before you take damage.
Mobs Float exactly like you. Zombies drift down on you from above, and skeletons shoot from ledges they had no business reaching.

Days and nights work as normal, and so do beds.

Getting around

  • Walk first. Take short hops until you can judge where you will land.
  • Look before a long drop. Slow falls feel safe, and a big one is not.
  • Use it. Hills and trees that take a staircase at home are one hop here. It is the fastest world to explore on foot.

What lives here

Rabbits and sheep by day; zombies and skeletons at night. Nothing new, but everything moves strangely.

Serum and getting home

  • The arrival Box's cache holds 2 Serum Ampoules.
  • There is no native Serum ingredient, but the land is ordinary Overworld plains with normal ores, so a stranded traveler can live off it like at home.

Tips

  • Practise your landing near the arrival Box before you wander off.
  • Fight on flat ground: in the air you can't dodge.

Birds

Birds you can photograph for your bird log here. Open one to turn it round, watch it move and hear its call.

The traveler's tape

Every arrival Box has a chest by its door holding a cassette: the last traveler reading their journal of this world aloud. This is what they say. It gives a lot away.

Read the journal (spoilers)

Third day on this hill, and the weathered Box I woke beside is still the only thing here that feels heavy. The ground barely holds on to you: one careless step and you sail half a field, so walk until your legs learn it. Falling is slow, but it still counts, and I have the bruises from trusting a long drop. The dead drift down at you like ash, and skeletons shoot from ledges they had no business reaching. When you have had enough, step back into the Box with the Serum still in you and shut the door; it will carry you back to the hallway of doors.
